We will be breeding in October 2024 for 2 litters. Girls are in rest.
We are accepting limited deposits and a convenient "Layaway/payment plan" can be arranged. Please inquire.
Please Note: Possible miniatures - male miniatures breeding with a standard size female. Possibility of both sizes in these litters. If you prefer the smaller size the price is $500 more than our standard pups.

We have a confirmed waiting list. We pre-book all litters.
In an ideal world we would not be planning this far into the future, but in these times we are living in, and people now realizing just how long it takes to research/talk to breeders and get onto a list, our world has changed. I do refer people to other breeders if possible, or to websites they can find a breeders list. If you don't find a puppy and are willing to endure a bit of a wait, you WILL get a Reillys puppy.
As with any breeding, the dates are dependant up on the girls coming into heat on time.
Pups are born after a 63 day gestation period and ready for their new homes 8 weeks from their birth pending their health check. **** Please be aware that the smaller pups can be held for extra time as the vet needs them at a certain weight before doing their first puppy shot. Minatures held 10-12 weeks.
Moms are vet checked between their breedings, and can be pulled from the schedule at any time if their health is the slightest bit off.

Much consideration goes into Reillys breeding program. Throughout the years we have come across research and practices that make for smarter, healthier dogs, and the pups.
Once we have chosen the two parents to breed, and know the approximate time our female will be ready to breed, we start her on folic acid a month in advance of her breeding. This is continued until the 42nd day of her pregnancy. This helps to prevent birth defects in puppies. We have also added in new supplements by Breeders Edge!
The ladies get "Breed To Wean" and the males are getting "Oxy STUD". These are all natural and promote healthy pups and Parents! I get this from "The Breeders Cupboard" here in Canada. As of summer 2021 we are using progesterone strips with the girls, and I recently purchased a microscope and motility kits for the males . Again these are available from "The Breeders Cupboard" as well. Their latest product is a home pregnancy test that works much the same as the human one. The nice thing about the owner of "The breeders Cupboard is that she is a breeder herself and tests the products in many cases. For breeders, the same pregnancy test now offered on the CKC website is also available from "The Breeders Cupboard".
During the pregnancy and until the pups are ready to go to their new homes, we use music therapy. I had read an article on it about many years ago, and decided to try it. Originally developed to calm shelter, rescue, and traumatized dogs, it helps to promote a quieter temperament in a pup/dog. I started with "Through A Dog's Ear", now called icalmpet.com. You can also find many videos on YouTube.com for pets as well. (*smile* thats my electronic babysitter when I have to go out!)
When puppies are born, they immediately receive fresh frozen plasma from a healthy mother dog. I order it through Lifestream Animal Blood Bank (check it out here). Pups receive drops every 2 hours for the first 36-48 hours after birth. This helps them to thrive, helps build the immune system and is just a phenomenal product.
From day 2 - day 16, they have specific set of exercises done on them, developed by Dr. Carmen Battiglia, called "Early Neurological Stimulation". (article link) . You can also see it on a YouTube video as well.
This is just a few of the procedures that go into a Reillys pup. Behind the scenes we have nutritional food, and Mom receives a special recipe to keep her strength up and just the right amount of calcium needed for nursing her pups. This has been such a success that various vets have asked to have it, to pass onto other breeders. (If you are a breeder of any dog breed, contact me for the recipe, I would be pleased to share it with you.)
We have also switched to "Raw Performance" food for all adults and gradually the pups are on it as well. I highly encourage everyone to put their pups on it. Your pups will have a longer life and a lot less health issues!
Socialize, socialize, socialize! Pups are exposed to normal household activity and are handled by my CEO of Socialization AKA my granddaughter. She will often slip downstairs to sit in the puppy pen and cuddle them. They are raised with the family, happily playing and interacting with us.
We start housetraining with peepads, but housetraining of your choice will be something that you would continue at home. They have the idea!
I do not housetrain pups by putting them out in the winter.
Summer pups are outside a portion of the day as long
as the heat is not extremely high.
They are not exposed to direct sunlight,
but in a pen under the high deck with shade.
